Do you want to lead GreenIron's first production facility and shape the future of fossil-free metal production? GreenIron is now looking for a Site Manager for its operations in Sandviken, with full operational and P/L responsibility – a key role in the company's growth journey.

As Site Manager, you are responsible for day-to-day operations in Sandviken and for ensuring that production is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Since this is a new site, much is still being built up, giving you a central role in shaping the team, routines, and structure. You will also serve as MD of the production company, and therefore carry the overall P/L responsibility.

Today, the team consists of ten employees. The ambition is to scale up production and grow the team. You will work closely with GreenIron's R&D team, who are deeply engaged with the facility, as well as with the rest of the organization, and you will report to the Group CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Site management responsibility for the facility in Sandviken, as well as MD
  responsibility for GreenIron H2 Production Sweden AB

• Leading daily operations and production – safely, on time, and within budget

• P/L responsibility

• Customer and stakeholder relations

• Building team, routines, and structure in a new operation

• Managing employees, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Ensuring safety, quality, and results across the entire operation

• Close collaboration with R&D and the rest of the organization

Your profile

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader with a solid background in production and operations, and experience in P/L responsibility. You hold an engineering degree and have at least ten years of experience from heavy industry, such as the steel, metals, or mining sector.

You combine strong operational expertise with financial acumen and a commercial mindset, including experience in customer and stakeholder relations, and you have a proven track record of building up and developing organizations, as well as leading teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. You lead through others, build trust, and thrive in an environment where you move between strategic, overall responsibility and hands-on operational work.

As a leader, you are inclusive and communicative, and you inspire, motivate, and engage your team. You are unpretentious and coaching, supporting and developing your employees while sharing your knowledge and remaining open to others' perspectives.

You have a strong focus on safety, quality, and results, as well as a deep understanding of industrial operations. You are confident in complex environments, structured, thorough, and self-driven, with a solution-oriented and positive, can-do attitude, and you build long-term, trusting relationships, both internally and externally.

You are flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment. A background in finance or an MBA is considered an advantage. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
