CFD Engineer

At Quintus Technologies, your expertise will help drive innovation in some of the world’s most advanced high-pressure systems. As CFD Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing Quintus’s technology.
As CFD Engineer, you will be responsible for fluid and thermal calculations in Quintus projects. This is a versatile role where you will develop robust models - from simulating heat and gas flows in Quintus’s largest isostatic presses to analyzing customer loads in special projects. You will also contribute to furnace calculations when developing new products.
Quintus presses can reach extreme pressures of up to 6,000 bar and temperatures of up to 2,000 degrees, giving you a central role with significant impact in Quintus projects. Quintus also collaborates closely with suppliers of simulation and calculation software, giving you the opportunity to contribute with your expertise. The main software used is Ansys CFX and Ansys Fluent.
You will work alongside engineers in Engineering, Product Management, Commissioning, and Production to ensure successful system deliveries.
In this role, you will report to Manager Calculation & Furnace, Jakob Fyhrman.
Your profile
You are a skilled problem solver who takes initiative and ownership. You are analytical, structured,and proactive. You also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are effective in sharing information. You achieve results through teamwork and collaboration, and you feel confident working in a team with diverse technical expertise.
You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics, and have at least 10 years of experience working with CFD in an industrial setting. You possess solid theoretical knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermal calculations.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of additional languages would also be an advantage.
